This supplement is intended to provide a resolution mechanic for mass battles where PCs will take part but there is no interest in a full-scale miniatures wargame. What follows is a way to simulate the fighting between two or more groups of NPCs that is taking place around the combat that the PCs are directly involved in. In a situation where one group of NPC combatants are allied with the PCs, it will provide an opportunity for the PCs to tilt the outcome of the fight in their favor through preparation and planning.

This is a system-neutral supplement that should thus be compatible with any kind of game that uses polyhedral dice and was possibly inspired by some booklets that were published in 1974.
